- Mixon Properties Resort
Rentals, on behalf of the renter, purchases travel protection which
provides allowances for cancellations, postponed arrival or early
departure for most reasonable causes (including named hurricanes), within
an allotted time frame.
Should a renter opt to waive this coverage in lieu of a rate
discount or for any other reason, the renter shall be held fully liable
for the cancellation penalties. The penalty shall be 25% of the total rental fee
plus taxes if cancelled prior to two weeks of scheduled arrival date and
the entire rental amount plus taxes if cancelled less than two weeks prior
to arrival.
- Should any property
be removed from Mixon Properties Resort Rentals rental program for any
reason, the renter agrees to hold Mixon Properties Resort Rentals
harmless. In such an instance, the renter will be relocated to comparable
accommodations determined by the rental agency. If comparable
accommodations are not available, the renter will receive a full refund.
- Mixon Properties
Resort Rentals is not responsible for events beyond our control, e.g.
inclement weather, natural disaster, fire, flood or any other commonly
occurring events which may be considered “acts of God.” Certain occurrences may be cover
under the travel protection plan, however, these shall not include minor
detriments such as rainy or cold weathers, seaweed, jelly fish, rough surf
or any other natural conditions.
